Ferrum Nexus account privacy

To create and protect your account, we record your name, email, password hash, email verification and access sessions. API use records permissions, limits and request counters. Portfolio and watchlist information belongs to your account.

The same account is used on the website and API portal. Registration does not grant administrative access, create charges or automatically enable commercial features.

Language and region

Automatic language selection uses the country supplied by Cloudflare without requesting GPS or precise location. Your Portuguese, English or automatic preference is stored in the ferrum-language cookie for up to one year and shared between the website and API portal. You can change it in the language menu.

Emails

We send registration verification, password recovery and service messages needed for the account. After verification, you may receive a welcome email. News and promotional emails require an optional choice, unchecked by default. Your choice and its date are recorded, and you can withdraw consent in your profile without losing your account.

Providers and access

Hosting and database services use Cloudflare. Transactional email uses Resend, which receives the address and content needed for delivery. Google sign-in, when enabled, provides basic identity, name and verified email; we do not request mailbox or contact-list access. Apple sign-in is not enabled yet. Authorised administrators can view registrations and export verified contacts who consented to promotional messages.

Your requests

To request access, correction, deletion or information about data retention, contact contato@ferrumnexus.com. You can edit your name and email preferences in your profile. Some information may need to be retained for security, requests or applicable obligations; retention depends on the purpose and should be explained when responding.

This page describes the current version’s features. Website advertising policies and preferences may require additional information before campaigns and commercial operations.
